Equifax Agrees to Pay $700m Data Breach Fine

Two years after the credit giant’s infamous data breach, Equifax has agreed to pay up to $700m as part of a settlement with a US regulator. At least $300m will be used to pay back victims for security expenses.

Bizarre tweets flooded the Met’s Twitter account last week, alongside a number of suspicious emails, after hackers took control. US President Trump took the opportunity to criticise London Mayor, Sadiq Khan.
